How the covid-19 pandemic has changed construction

Heather Holbrook(1.0)

Five years on from the first lockdown, lessons have been learnt and the industry has managed to move forward, Heather Holbrook of Thomas & Adamson writes

It is hard to believe that five years have passed since the start of the covid-19 pandemic. Yet, you can still see the impact it has had on the construction sector today in a variety of different ways.

It almost goes without saying that most of the experiences of the pandemic were negative ones. There were, nevertheless, important lessons to learn from them which should be factored into projects now that we are on the other side.
